This week over at Beth's she wants us to take pictures of "real life" at our house. I assure you there is nothing exciting about these "real life" pictures. I am smack dab in the middle of preparing for a move...so what you see is pretty ugly for real life!
Boxes, boxes, boxes! and empty bookcases!! and piles of laundry!! That's my real life!
I'm trying to keep them contained and mostly neat, cuz our landlords are showing the house every couple of days and I don't want them to trip over boxes!!
Real life is also about a big pile of laundry I need to fold and put away so we can sit, but that's not happening right now because I have to go play legos with That Other Kid!!

I'm not sure if this move is a "looking forward" to thing, or a "we have to" thing, but either way, I wish you luck. About a year and a half ago, we moved from a rental into our own home (although if I had it to do again, I'd make a different choice) and downsizing was the word of the day! It still is! The old house, although drafty and oddly-proportioned (the kitchen was the size of an average American walk-in closet, the living room was the size of a ballroom!), suited our needs far better. Plenty of library space, etc.
Those shelves look far too empty. I hope you repopulate them soon!
Oh no! All those boxes would drive me batty! I hope they can get relocated soon so your stress goes down!
