Things are going well with the hockey tournament. They have played 3 games against 3 different teams, and will play their final game in the morning for 3rd place.
Their first game Friday night was a good game to start the tournament with - they won 7-1. But, today was a new day -- they played this morning and tied 2-2 and spent a bunch of time in the penalty box. That hurts~! Tonight's game hurt even worse, by giving us our first big lose -- That Kid didn't even give me the score, it hurt too badly. Once again, they spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME in the penalty box and racked up 16 penalties, costing the team their coach in the final game tomorrow. It also awarded them 5 laps around the building AFTER they had played 3- 18 minute periods. Bet they stay outta the box tomorrow!
So far the only injuries have been a sprained ankle on one of the goalies and some blisters on a few players feet....including That Kid's....
Hope they get some sleep tonight and play well tomorrow or it will be a LONG plane ride home
